چکیده

Lysozyme, a specific differentiation marker for the myeloid lineage of hematopoietic differentiation in mammals (Hansen 1974), is also found in chicken hematopoietic cells (macrophages) (H. Hauser, unpublished work). In the mature hen oviduct lysozyme is produced as one of the major egg white proteins under the control of steroid hormones (Palmiter 1972; Hynes et al. 1979; Schutz et al. 1978). We show that in chicken macrophages and oviduct cells the same mRNAs are transcribed from a single lysozyme gene. In macrophages, however, the lysozyme gene is expressed at a much lower rate and does not seem to be under the control of steroid hormones.

Effect of dietary Tribulus Terrestris extract on expression of lysozyme, IL1 and TNF genes in Danio rerio

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Tribulus terrestris extract on the expression of lysozyme gene, IL1 and TNF in Zebra fish. For this purpose, fish were fed in four treatment group’s including; T0 (control (0)), T1 (50), T2 (100) and T3 (200 mg of extract per kg of food) for 60 days. In order to measurement of the gene expression, sampling was performed at the end of th...

Semiquantitative RT-PCR analysis to assess the expression levels of iNOS in chicken macrophages

Abstract: iNOS is inducible by a variety of factors related to inflammation and referred to as inducible NOS(iNOS). It is regulated at the level of gene expression; once expressed, it produces NO at a high rate. iNOS gene-expression profiling is an important tool in understanding molecular markers of the responses of cells and tissues to external factors. In this article a semiquantitative reve...

P-182: The Role of Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Gene Expression in Patients with the History of Endometriosis

Background: Endometriosis is the presence of endometrium- like tissue in sites outside the uterine cavity, primarily on the pelvic peritoneum and ovaries. Ectopic endometrium for replacement and growth require to blood supply. Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is one of the most important intermediate of locality angiogenesis that product by monocytes and macrophages. This study evaluat...

STAT3 as a Key Factor in Tumor Microenvironment and Cancer Stem Cell

Background Recent studies revealed that tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) play a decisive role in the regulation of tumor progression by manipulating tumor oncogenesis, angiogenesis and immune functions within tumor microenvironments. Signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3), which is a point of convergence for numerous oncogenic signalling pathways, is constitutively activ...

بررسی بیان ژن های IL4، TNFα، TGFβ و IFNγ در تائید پلاریزاسیون ماکروفاژهای M1 و M2 حاصل از کشت مونوسیت های انسانی

background: Classical macrophages (M1) and alternative macrophages (M2) are responsible for various functions in order to maintain homeostasis. BCG vaccine and hydatid cyst fluid can be examples of stimulants which can cause M1and M2 macrophage polarization. Evaluating the expression of markers such as IFNγ and TNFα for M1 phenotype and TGFβ and IL4 for M2 phenotype is one of the confirmatory w...
